A 2002 report by Canadian Sports Data uncovered that there were 8.5 million seasoned archers in the world. 85 percent of archers polled who had used a bow in the most recent year were under the age of 40, and 59 percent were male.
The biggest change has been the generation that did archery in their youth and have grown up with the Lord of The Rings explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport for their children as led by competitive athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
